TLC Reunion 2024

September 28 - 29, 2024

Please join us for this exciting, new, annual tradition - a yearly TLC Reunion for those participants and leaders of the Tawingo Leadership Course whose last number in their TLC year matches the last number of the current year. This year we look forward to welcoming all of the TLCs from 1964, 1974, 1984, 1994, 2004, and 2014!

Arrive on Saturday, September 28 for lunch (12:30pm) and stay until after lunch on Sunday, September 29. Spouses, partners, significant others, children, and grandchildren are welcome to come with you!

All proceeds from the TLC Reunion will go towards building a new Health Centre at Camp.

What is the Plan?

  • 11:00am - Arrive and settle into your cabin

    Meet and Greet on the Flag Pole Terraces

    Walk the site - visit the areas, see what’s new…and what never changes…

    12:30pm - Lunch & Announcements

    Everything old is new again - Mike & Tia

    2:00pm - Travel the Ring Road

    Paddle on Lake Vernon

    Swim/play at the Waterfront

    Walk up Eagle Mountain

    Play at the Sportsfield

    Visit with old and new friends on the Terraces or in the Dining Hall

    5:30pm - Flag Lowering & Dinner

    7:00pm - Sing Song w/ Mike & Tia

    8:30pm - Campfire @ Birch Beach

    Snacks & hot chocolate

TLC Reunion Rates

Adults & Teens (13 and up): $100 + HST

Youth (12 and under): No charge

Who may Participate?

This year, 2024, we invite all of the TLCs of 1964, 1974, 1984, 1994, 2004, and 2014 (and their families) to return to Tawingo and reconnect with each other and with Camp.

What to Bring?

Warm clothing (especially those old Tawingo sweatshirts)

Sleeping bag, pillow, towel, toiletries

Bathing suit, bug spray, sun screen, paddle

Guitars, banjos, ukuleles, tubas, and other musical instruments

All your camp memories to share - - - even a few of your favourite photos

Where to Stay?

Camper and staff cabins are available - feel free to make a cabinmate request

You may also choose to stay off-site and join us each day

Summer Policies?

Yes, please. We feel that our regular policy of no alcohol or recreational drugs … anytime and anywhere at Camp must apply on this weekend. We know that you understand. Thank you.
