Welcome

For 62 years, Camp Tawingo has been a summer oasis for thousands of campers to enjoy the fun and freedom of old-fashioned, unplugged, childhood play. Guided by compassionate, fun, and capable counsellors, no devices mean that campers spend their time and energy connecting to one another, the staff, and nature.

Visitors’ Day

We love hosting visitors at Camp…having them see and hear Camp in person. However, if there is something that COVID taught us in Summer 2022, it’s that Camp runs just as, if not more, smoothly and offers more programming options when we do not have a Visitors Day. As such, and given the length of our regular sessions, we have decided to not host Visitors Days in 2023. If you wish to see Camp and visit the places that punctuated your camper’s stay with us, we encourage you to do so on pick-up day, if you come by car.
