Visitors are most welcome at Camp!
Visitors' Days for Summer Camp 2008 are:
Saturday, July 12
Saturday, August 2
Saturday, August 16
Visitors's Day Tips:
- Visit between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm (Daylight Saving Time)
- Visitors wishing to take campers out of Camp must be a minimum of 21 years of age. If the Visitor is not a relative or the parent of the Tawingo Camper, written permission is required at least 24 hours prior to Visitors' Day.
- When a visitor takes a camper out of Camp, he/she tells the camper's counsellor and they sign out together at the White House. When they return, they sign back in together and the camper is directed to find his or her counsellor.
- If visitors would like to picnic, they are free to use any of the picnic tables found around the property.
- Swimming may take place at Birch Beach for our guests but we require campers to use the main waterfront during designated swimming periods.
- There is a full and complete program for campers who do not receive visitors on Visitors' Day.
- As you are aware many children have food allergies, in some cases life-threatening. Please do not allow your camper to bring any food or candy back into camp on Visitors' Day.
- Please note that there is not a Visitors' Day for Session 2B.
